Packaging and end of line
Shrink and stretch packaging machines
Shrink and stretch packaging hold products together, making them easier to handle and store. We evaluate shrink packaging with or without trays and stretch wrapping options with you, based on pack pattern, film type and line speed.
Typical applications
- Bottle multipacks
- Jar and box groups
- Shrink packs on corrugated trays
- Cleaning and cosmetic product packs
- Product groups wrapped in stretch film
What we evaluate in your project
- Pack pattern and count per pack
- Film type, gauge and use of printed film
- Tray or film-only packaging
- Shrink tunnel and energy needs
- Line speed and end-of-line layout
Solution options by application
Film-only shrink packaging
Products are grouped, wrapped in film only and shrunk in a heat tunnel; a common solution for bottle multipacks.
Tray shrink packaging
Products are grouped on a corrugated tray and wrapped in film; evaluated for containers that need extra support or longer transport.
Stretch wrapping
Product groups are wrapped in stretch film without heat; the wrapping method is chosen to suit the product and pack size.

Line integration
The packaging machine receives labeled products by conveyor, groups them and wraps them in film. Packs leaving the shrink tunnel move on to case packing or straight to palletizing. Grouping, tunnel placement and end-of-line flow are planned together.
